On Wednesday, this handsome devil turned 4! They just got haircuts yesterday, so I wanted to wait to take a birthday pic when he was clean...mainly because I was so ashamed at how dirty they were earlier this week (gimme a break...it rains every day, plus I wanted their hair as short as possible before we take them to the beach). Anyway, he is too cute and we love him bunches! Happy birthday Jackson!!!

Saturday we celebrated Katie's 29th birthday by going to dinner at Maggiano's, then heading back to the Jones house for cake, ice cream, and presents. Dinner was so good! Greg got the Rigatoni D and I ordered the Lobster Fettucine...so yummy =) Katie's birthday cake was FANTASTIC! I usually am not a fan of fruit fillings in cake, but this was sooo good! Katie got a lot of great gifts like new stationary, CD's and an itunes card, a new book and lapdesk, new silver earrings, and best of all...My Little Pony Stickers from Katie Anne. She said she picked them out for her so that they could share...so cute! Before the cake was cut, Cindy decorated the table with beach themed trinkets, so we all had a fun time playing with our toys and wearing our shades =) It was a great time and I hope Katie had a wonderful birthday!!

Summer fun...

Yesterday was too hot to play at the park for, and I forgot my bathing suit to take the girls to the pool, so we broke out the sprinkler! Oh. my. goodness! I honestly don't think I have seen anything cuter! The girls had SO much fun running around, playing together. Laurel thought this was the greatest thing since whole milk! And Karis kept running around saying "Jillian (which is said very clearly now...sad), you better watch out because you are going to get totally soaked!" haha! This summer has been incredible and I am definitely going to miss days like these come Fall! I LOVE my job =)

Happy Father's Day Pal!

This weekend we traveled to NC to visit my family for Father's Day. We got in late/early however you want to look at it...Friday night/ Sat. morning. Saturday my extended family got together at my parent's house for a cookout. It was so much fun catching up and watching the kids play together! Lunch was fantastic! Andy grilled some amazing burgers and we had pasta salads, slaw, yummy dips, a FANTASTIC banana pudding that Kari made, and delicious blonde brownies with a caramel sauce made my my cousin Haley. After everyone left/went down for naps, we went out back to play cornhole (thanks to Thomas for letting us borrow the game). Let's just say that you don't want to play with this Glawson duo any time soon...we were pretty awesome. We had a fun evening with everyone and I loved so much spending time with Eva and James. I just could not get over how much they had changed just since Easter!! Sunday morning we woke up and gave my dad his Father's Day gifts and then hit the road around 10. It was a wonderful weekend, just a very short one! But it was worth the drive to celebrate Father's Day with my incredible dad...I love you Pal =)

Happy Father's Day to Thomas...

Sunday we celebrated an early Father's day with Greg's dad, since we will be in NC this weekend. The guys went golfing in the afternoon and then came home smelly sweaty and tired We had a huge, delicious meal prepared by the women =) We all chipped in and got Thomas tickets to see Brooks and Dunn in concert, and he was very surprised and excited! I hope he has a great time! After we were all stuffed, we headed to the living room to play some hide-and-seek with Katie Anne and to take turns letting her put "make-up" on us and come out and put on a show. It was a super fun time and we enjoyed spending the day celebrating Thomas!

The Mommy-to-be and Me

This past Saturday was my friend Jennifer's baby shower. She is having a baby boy in August and we can't wait for him to get here! It's so fun seeing all of our Nweds friends start their families! I had such a great time catching up with her and holding baby Ryan the whole time =) Afterwards, Stephanie, Joy, Ryan, and I all went to The Avenue together and then to dinner at a new mexican restaurant. It was nice to have a girls night while Greg enjoyed a guy's night out with the husband's of the wives that were at the shower! She got a lot of cute stuff and it's always so fun to share in the joy of welcoming a new baby!
