I kept Karis and Laurel for a bit last week. Maaan I love these two!! They are too stinkin cute and I can't wait to be finished with my field experience so I can go back to watching them regularly! Karis is so much fun and can do so much now! When I was with her every week I suppose I didn't notice all the big girl things she can do now, but after being away for about a month, seeing her I realize how fast she's growing! I cannot wait to start all the fun crafts I have planned for us the week I start back!! And Laurel is now a month old which is also crazy! Time is flying!

Greg's New Toy...
Yep...we did it. We got a motorcycle. For those of you who do not know, Greg has ALWAYS wanted a bike, so to finally get one made him ecstatic! I am a HUGE worry-wart and I will worry incessantly about him while he is riding it (but who am I kidding, I worried about him allll the time before the motorcycle)! However, seeing him so incredibly happy to have something he has wanted so badly for so long, helps ease some of the worry and just makes me happy for him! We went over several things before deciding to get one, but we basically decided that now is the best time since we don't have kids and we will sell it when I do get pregnant. So, he's got a good three years or so to ride until his heart's content =)
I haven't blogged all week mainly because I have been so busy, but also because I have been sick all week (lame)! I had a crazy week with school stuff (3 tests, 2 major projects, field experience stuff, plus actual classes) and with that I was working and by the end of the day I was exhausted from not feeling too hot. However, my sickness did not keep me from some awesome sales! Scholastic was having a wharehouse sale in Kennesaw so I went to check it out, they had some AWESOME deals but I only got one book by Jamie Lee curtis (she has some really cute children's books) that was orig. $16.99...got it for $5! Then I went to a kids consignment sale they were having at a church in downtown Kennesaw to check out some things for my new nephew. MAN OH MAN did I find some good deals?! I got around 25 outfits, 4 bibs, and one pair of shoes (that were never worn) all for (drum roll please)...$27!!! The clothes look really nice too, some still had tags or still in original package (onesies). I loved it! There are a lot of things I wouldn't let my kid have that was used, but clothes that have probably only been worn once or not at all can always be washed! Greg had to work on Saturday and I took Chance to the vet for his last shots and then went to babysit lastnight. Today, we went to breakfast/lunch at IHOP and then came home and straightened up and worked on some HW and waited for Cindy and Thomas to get here. They came to show Cindy the bike and then they took us out to dinner at Ippolitos which was SO yummy!! We are now heading to bed....and there's the play-by-play of the week and weekend =)

Why don't you Google it...
I am totally stealing this from Katie because it was hilarious! But I want you all to try it!
The premise is that you put your first name, plus the given phrase, in Google and search it. You just type whatever comes up first in the search. Easy! Here goes...
Q: Type in "[your name] needs" ...
Jillian needs her tonsils and adenoids out. (they are out)
Q: Type in "[your name] looks like" ...
Jillian doesn't look like Meryl Streep, but there's something about her that makes one think of Meryl Streep looks (HAHA)
Q: Type in "[your name] says" ...
Jillian says Jillian Says (it's a website)
Q: Type in "[your name] wants" ...
Jillian wants to play
Q: Type in "[your name] does" ...
Jillian does not want your 40 on Flikr...
Q: Type in "[your name] hates" ...
Jillian hates Santa (not true...lol)
Q: Type in "[your name] asks" ...
Jillian asks Bruce, "For a man who could have anything he wanted, why do I have the sense that you rarely get what you want?
Q: Type in "[your name] goes" ...
Jillian goes to an abortion clinic (yikes!)
Q: Type in "[your name] likes " ...
Jillian likes her octopus toy.
Q: Type in "[your name] eats " ...
Jillian eats airplane.
Q: Type in "[your name] wears " ...
Jillian wears classy pink french style lingerie (HAHAHAHA)
Q: Type in "[your name] was arrested for" ...
Jillian was arrested for making phone calls and drunk driving (lol)

The Weekend...
Well this past weekend my parents and grandmother came to town to celebrate mine and Greg's birthdays. They got here on Friday and we all ate pizza and caught up and then we got to open our gifts! My parents had wrapped 21 small gifts of some really cute things! I got a really pretty angel bracelet, a daughter necklace, some pomegranate body wash, sugar cookie hand soap and lotion, money, a cute pink apron, an oven mitt with a heart shaped sandwich cutter, and tons more! It was a lot of fun opening all the gifts! On Saturday we all got up and I made a blueberry pancake breakfast (plain for Greg...and a heart shaped one for him)! Then we played the Wii for a while and watched a movie before going to lunch at the Varsity. The girls all took naps while my dad and Greg watched another movie and then we woke up and played the Wii again! I made spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread and for dessert we had the other half of Junior's cheesecake and another one of my favorites, Brown Stone Front Cake..MMmmmm!!! Sunday we all went to church together and then said our goodbyes! Then last night we went to NWeds and had a great time as usual! And now...I am sick. BOOO!!! I have a terrible sore throat, headache and earache...lame! But here are some pics of this weekend!

21st Part 3...
Make a Smilebox scrapbook
Sunday we had another birthday fun filled day at Cindy and Thomas'! Cindy grilled a great lunch of burgers, sweet potato fries, grilled veggies, and salad and then made a delicious angel food cake for dessert! After lunch, I got to open my wonderful gifts! Katie made some awesome jewelry (2 necklaces and two matching pairs of earrings) and her and Saunders and KA also gave me a memory card to take to Italy, and some digital scrapbooking kits!! I was also very excited and surprised to get the Wii Fit from Cindy and Thomas!!! I cannot wait to try it out and hopefully get better than KA at soccer =) It was an awesome birthday celebration and I am so thankful for everything! After we left, we ran home to let the dogs out and then were back on the road again heading to Atlanta for the Winter Jam Concert!! It was AWESOME!! It was a huge concert with several different contemporary Christian rock artists (Hawk Nelson, Brandon Heath, Toby Mac, Francesca Batestelli, and a few more). It was awesome to be in that concert environment!!! We had an incredible weekend and are looking forward to this coming weekend with my parents!

21st Part 2...
Make a Smilebox scrapbook
Last night we went to Atlanta to have round two of the birthday fun! We met up with my roommate from KSU and some of her friends at Front Page News in Midtown. While me and Greg and Megan and Dusty waited on the others to get there, I decided to go ahead and order my first drink in a bar...and then was sorely disappointed when I WASN'T CARDED!!! Grr!! I got over it eventually lol! We had a great time but I will say, the service was TERRIBLE at dinner! They had to split our tables so we were sitting beside Amanda's table, and we got out appetizer 45 min after they did. We were all also there for well over 2 hours!!! It was crazy! The food was good, but we were still all disappointed in the service! After dinner, we went to this club called, Cosmopolitan. It's one club with two different "lounges" inside. It was nice and we all had fun but it got REEEAAALLLY crowded...which was fun while it lasted! After that we all decided to go ahead and part ways and head home (we have puppies at home)! We got home around 1 and if you know me then you know I do NOT stay up late, so I was exhausted and passed out almost immediately! We had a really fun night celebrating with friends and are looking forward to celebrating with Greg's family today and my family next weekend!
Oh...and if you are wondering...no, I am NOT hungover lol...as you can see, I only drank ONE margarita...at least that's what's shown in the slide =)

My 21st Part One...
Make a Smilebox scrapbook
Yesterday I celebrated my 21st birthday!!! It was AWESOME to say the least! It began with my handsome hubby waking me up and wishing me a happy birthday before leaving for his Bible study, and then tons of texts (21 from my brother lol) and phone calls from all the family singing me happy birthday as well!! I had class yesterday and then had to meet with my group from one of my education classes to work on a project and 2 of my group members made yummy snacks for my birthday! Ashley made some sausage biscuit balls and Jillian (the other one) made me some chocolate chip cookies! HOW SWEET!!! From school I went to work at the Harts and then finally got to head home to celebrate with Greg! Before dinner I opened my gifts...a WII and WII PLAY!!! I was SOOO surprised!! We were planning on getting one, but waiting until after Italy! AND he was on a waiting list for one since for over a month! Sneaky sneaky =) And then...the sneakiest thing was the birthday cake! I had been telling him I wanted an ice cream cake from Cold Stone...well...he TOTALLY topped that!!! He started out by telling me how he knew I wanted the ice cream cake but he thought of something I might want more...he then pulled out a heart shaped cheesecake from JUNIORS!!! He called Junior's Cheesecake in NYC(our favorite place while we were there) and had them ship a cheesecake to his work so he could keep it a surprise! I thought this was SOOOO sweet!! The cheesecake is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! After all the surprises we went to dinner at Provino's where I ordered my first legal drink...wine (woooo lol)!! After dinner we went home and got into our pj's, played the Wii and ate cheesecake! Then we watched a movie and headed to bed! As you can see, this has been a FANTASTIC birthday so far...and the fun doesn't stop! Tonight we are going to Atlanta with several friends to celebrate my birthday and my old roomate's 22nd birthday! Then tomorrow we are having lunch at Cindy and Thomas' and then going to a concert, then NEXT weekend my parents are coming to celebrate mine and Greg's birthdays AGAIN!! Whew...it's a busy but SUPER fun weekend!!

Super Bowl Party
To celebrate the Super Bowl we went to a party with our Nweds group. We had a TON of fun (and I didn't watch one second of the game)! There were about 30 of us there (maybe less, I dunno) and while the guys watched the game (and several girls) a lot us ladies stayed and chatted in the sunroom. I had such a good time getting to know some of the girls better! And now we have lots of social events to add to our calendar!! There was a ton of food that everyone brought. Greg and Barbara made 40 lbs of wings and they were DELICIOUS!! People started trickling out after halftime so we stayed for a while longer talking and then came home to the puppies! I forgot I brought my camera so I only have a few pics and some of those didn't turn out well! But here they are anyway! There is also a picture of us passing on the "Happy Hands" statue that you get when you are engaged. Someone got it as a wedding present and thought it was funny, so now it gets passed around to the engaged couples and you have to take it on your honeymoon and sign it and then pass it to the next engaged couple...we've had this thing since the summer so we were glad to pass it on!!
