Greg's Bday with the Glawson/Jones fam...
Last Sunday we went to Cindy and Thomas' to celebrate round 2 of Greg's 25th birthday! We had a fun and exciting time (I have another post to come soon)! Katie Anne has picked themes for all of our birthdays this year and she picked Spongebob for Greg (haha) so we had a Spongebob cake! Cindy made a delicious meal as always, with prime rib, mashed potatoes, salad, and rolls. Yummm!! After dinner and presents we played the Wii and talked until it was time to go! We had a fun night celebrating!! Tomorrow we are celebrating my birthday...you'll have to wait to find out what the theme is...I think it was well chosen =)

Better than nothing...
I literally do not have anything too fun to post about. I'm so boring now that school is back in. However, this weekend I will have some stuff because it's the handsome man's 25th birthday =) I've been super busy with school stuff so when I come home I generally just crash. I love all of my classes and I am learning some pretty cool stuff! Tomorrow I start at my elementary school so I am really psyched about that! I finally get to find out what grade I will be working with! This week we had 2 days of really nice weather so I tried to make the most of it by taking the girls to the park for a while both days and by spending time after afternoon naps in the yard either blowing bubbles or playing baseball...which P.S. don't play games with 3-year-olds...you never win =) Anyhoo...here are just a couple of pics from Tuesday's outside time, just to add some spunk to this post...and because they are SOOO stinkin cute =)

So...
I haven't posted in a while. I've been super busy, but with nothing exciting enough to take pictures of or post about! Lame. I know. Anyhoo...this week TOSS got into full swing and I am still slightly nervous, but it is certainly not as bad as I was expecting....I CAN DO IT! Greg has been RIDICULOUSLY sweet and supportive while I try to juggle my new schedule! He made dinner for us one night and then today, he got to come home a little early since he is working tomorrow and he cleaned the house while I was at work so I wouldn't have to tomorrow. Yes...AMAZING! Today I had planned on taking the girls to the Tellus Museum, but the morning nap ran a little long and then the day started slipping away from us, so it was a spur of the moment Monkey Joe's trip instead! Which is always fun =) Tonight we had fun dinner with the Campbells and the Elliots at Chow Baby...delish as usual! We had a great time talking with everybody and getting to know each other better (we even got kicked out of our table for staying too long....true story)! After dinner, Greg and I scooted on over to the Cheesecake Factory for some dessert (bad I know...but oh. so. good. And worth every bite...and calorie). I got home and caught myself up on the American Idol auditions that I recorded and now we are heading to bed! Fun weekend ahead !! Goodnight =)

What do you do when it snows?...
**Side note- TOSS started today and it was great! I LOVE the two professors I have met so far! I'm really beginning to look forward to the semester and learning new things to help me become a better teacher!

Delicious Dinner...
Day with the girls...
Today was a really fun day out with Jillian and Ashley!! Why? Because we went wedding dress shopping for Jillian!! It was so much fun watching her try on each dress and then start crying about that fact that she's getting married...so cute! I'm so incredibly happy for her and can't wait for the wedding =) After dress shopping (which I, of course, won't post pics of) we all went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and then went to get ice cream at Cold Stone. After ice cream we headed to pick up our TOSS name tags and we were SO excited about them! We can't believe that this is TOSS starts this week and that we graduate this year!! TOOOO exciting! Anyway, here are some pics of the day...

New Wall Decor...
Our wall letters came in today!!! I'm so happy with the way they look! It's kind of hard to get a good picture in the hallway, but I did the best I could! After TWO years of being in our house, we're FINALLY putting stuff on the walls...sad...I know. Better late than never =) Anyway, just wanted to show you our new decor!

New Years Eve with KA...
On New Year's Eve we got to babysit Katie Anne for the night while Katie and Saunders went out with some friends. We had SO much fun with her! I LOVE this age and so does Greg. We had fun eating Chick-fil-a, playing with Barbies, watching Dora, and reading stories! We jumped at the chance at getting to keep her for the night and are so glad they asked us to! We loved every minute and will hopefully get to watch her again sometime soon...I think we need another day out with the niece =)
Greg loves him some metro Ken =)
A night with Cindy and Thomas...
Last night we took Cindy and Thomas our to Agave as part of their Christmas gift from us. None of us had been there before, but I know that Greg and I will be going back! The food was exceptional! After our Spicy Calmari appetizer (which may be the best I've ever had)our delicious entrees arrived! I got the Spice Tequila Anejo Shrimp, which was sooo good, Greg got the Abogado Pepper Steak , Cindy got the Tenderloin Medallions, and Thomas ordered the New York Strip. After dinner we head back to our house for an apple dumpling dessert and to watch "Angels and Demons." We had such a great night and we hope they enjoyed their time with us as much as we did!

Ten for '10...
We had a super fun night last night ringing in the new year with Katie Anne! Well, she was asleep by midnight, of course, but we had fun playing until bedtime anyway! When the clock stuck 12 we celebrated with a big smooch (hehe) and then discussed what we were most looking forward to in 2010! So here are my top 10 things for 2010
Top 5 Things I'm Most Looking Forward To:
1) Graduating! This goes for both of us!
2) Planning our next big vacation (even though it's not until next January...we're PUMPED about our trip)!
3) Having a summer of no classes (this will be a first since I started college)
4) making new home improvements (we're about to change our bathroom floors!)
5) And of course, having another FANTASTIC year of marriage with my very best friend!
Top 5 Things I Want to Work on/Improve:
1) Losing some weight...I'm 15 lbs lighter this January than last, but i still have a ways to go!
2) Staying focused on school. TOSS is going to be tough and I REALLY do not want to procrastinate on things
3) Do a better job of keeping up with laundry...I tend to wait until there is a gigantic mountain of clothes in the guest bedroom to fold until I MAKE myself fold them.
4) Try my best to not fill up up our social schedule to the max like I did this year! We would go several months in a row with every single weekend packed...this year I'm going to try to have at least one weekend completely free of obligations every single month...even if that means I have to tell people 'no' (which you all know I'm not very good at).
5) Be the absolute best wife I can for Greg. He is such a phenomenal husband and I want to make sure I'm holding up my end of the deal =)
I'm looking forward to a new year for new memories and fun times! Happy New Year everyone!!
